As the name suggests, its flowers automatically and as a result can be planted year-round and at much higher densities than other hemp varieties. These shorter, smaller plants are easier to harvest and maintain throughout the growing season.

Maverick
Plant Characteristics A smaller day-neutral type variety that is known for its upright growth structure allows for high-density plantings. Ideal for direct sowing into the soil. Processors love this variety for hemp pre-rolls. Staggered finishing times allow for easier harvest time.
CBD Demonstrated 24:1, capable of achieving 30:1 CBD to THC or more depending on growing conditions. USDA Farm Bill Compliant with Total THC < 0.3% when mature.
Flavor and Aroma The dominant terpene Myrcene makes for a spicy scent similar to cinnamon with a hint of skunk. The scent reminds us of Christmas.
Potential Yield 2,000 – 4,000 lbs per acre

The chart displayed represents the progression of CBD and THC during a plants’ flower cycle. Noticeable developments of cannabinoids begin around Week 4, when the buds enlarge.
Week 5, trichomes cover the dense flower and a Pretest COA is highly recommended to know the legal limits of your crop. Week 6 should be the Official COA to ensure the crop will test less than .3%THC.
Once the Official COA has been passed, you will still have another 30 days until you are required to harvest your crop. Thus allowing your plants to reach full maturity and substantially increase cannabinoid ratios!
